MAG Offshore provide offshore marine and seabed survey experience and with specialism in the fields of topographic, hydrography, geophysics, pUXO, geotechnical and subsea inspection (ROV, digital video or other subsea product means like Coda Echoscope). We have extensive experience of seabed mapping, positioning, subsea inspection and construction support, but whereby our marine survey knowledgebase provides value added with respect to the bigger picture end goals for the marine survey data for the likes of cable installation, burial with associated 25year shelf life (O&M), pipelines with shelf life (IRM), offshore wind farm installations and associated 25year O&M.
MAG Offshore principal mission and focus is to ensure that services offered allow Polish infrastructure and work force to have full inclusion, training, development and therefore provide a legacy to support the future Polish & Eastern Baltic regions offshore energy sector.
This is achieved by providing professional, competent and efficient services/ expertise utilising the management team’s wealth of local and international contacts. Services include; in-country offshore discipline/ training & cross-training/ multi-skilling, infrastructure, future opportunity development, local content, local fit for purpose company and asset support (investing both in people and local services support) whilst providing the network & infrastructure for all phases (feed, development, preparatory, installation and O&M) of OWF and offshore grid project development for the long-term benefit of the offshore assets/ client, region and offshore sector.
MAG Offshore is the daughter company of Morska Agencja Gdynia sp. z o.o. (MAG) – a parent company responsible for logistic services in support of the largest onshore wind farms (handled over 75% of all onshore wind farms built in Poland (Potęgowo, Margonin and Lotnisko) and in Europe (Cogelac, Romania and Markbygden, Sweden). MAG created two main hubs for port handling of onshore wind farms in Poland: Gdynia and Swinoujscie. MAG is currently working to actively participate in the logistics support of Polish offshore wind. In 2021 we have done over 600 complete turbines + additionally ca 600 blades produced in LM Wind Goleniow in export via Swinoujscie Port. MAG was also involved in many Oil and Gas logistics projects in the ports of Gdynia and Gdansk between 2010 – 2015 and also dredging project for Van Oord and Jan De Nul. Prior to and effective since the commencement of 2021, MAG business strategy involved the development of their subsidiary in technical, resourcing and management support for offshore projects and hence established MAG Offshore.
